Yanks Defeat Astros 7-6

The Yankees defeated the Houston Astros 7-6 today at Osceoloa County Stadium in Kissimmee.

The offensive stars of the game for the Yankees were Robinson Cano(3-for-4, 2 RBI) and Shelley Duncan(2-for-4, 2 RBI). Morgan Ensberg (2-for-4, RBI) and Melky Cabrera (2-for-3, 2 R) also had good games.

As I mentioned in my previous post Mussina got hit pretty hard today, but besides that every other Yankee pitcher did their job. Karstens, Ramirez, Jackson, McCutchen, and Melancon combined for seven innings of four-hit ball, while walking none and striking out four.

The Yankees play the Blue Jays at Knology Park on Tuesday at 1:05 p.m. With right-hander Phil Hughes on the mound going up against Toronto right-hander Jesse Litsch.
