- Mariano Rivera, Kyle Farnsworth and Sean Henn will pitch in a minor-leagie game today (hat tip to Ed Price).

I really wish we would get to see Ensberg get a few more starts at first..I don't mind the pinch hits but to be an everyday starter he needs more experience at first.
I agree that if he's going to play everyday, he needs to start. But I don't think that's Girardi's plan. I think he wants Giambi as the everyday first baseman, and he's going to have Ensberg and Duncan fight for time vs. lefties.
Well it is a proven fact that Giambi's offensive numbers are drastically higher when he starts at first.
Exactly, which is another reason I think Girardi is set on playing him as often as possible.
