Ian Kennedy got the start and was very good, giving up only 1 run on 6 hits, while striking out 4 through his 4.1 innings of work. Kennedy has clearly been the Yankees best starting pitcher this spring. Dan Giese pitched .2 of an inning and gave up no runs, but did walk 2. Kyle Farnsworth pitched and inning and gave up a run on 1 hit and a walk, he also had 2 strike outs - typical Farnsworth. Joba Chamberlain looked like the Joba of 2007 for the first time this spring, coming in from the pen and striking out all three batters he faced. His stuff was electric and it seemed he could put his pitches wherever he wanted, of the 11 pitches he threw, 9 of them were strikes. As he walked off the mound he received a standing ovation from the fans in attendance (mostly Jays fans). Johnathan Albaladejo and Chris Britton also threw a scoreless inning each.
