game winning pop from gardner??? man the white jose comparisons just keep coming...

Greg Cohen said...

The white Jose?

Unknown said...

yeah heard a bunch of that on other peoples blogs around town... pretty rediculous if you ask me.

but i love the pop. keep on keepin on Brett!

Greg Cohen said...

But you mean the white Jose Reyes right?

Unknown said...

yeah, sorry didnt clarify. i think its a rediculous comparison defensively, but offensively he actually seems a little better than jose actually, in terms of being a fire starter, dont know if he could steal as many bases as jose tho...

Greg Cohen said...

Wow you think that highly of him?

Unknown said...

Well only because I know a lot about the mets and their fans and their analysts and they all think Jose's attitude and personality will further inhibit his production.

Gardner obviously is more of a grinder than Reyes, and thought we dont know much about him, he cant be much more of a goofball than Jose is... But no, I still think Reyes is better, I just believe that Gardner will consistently always be a pest throughout any series of 9 innings.
