Even though Moose got out of that jam in the first, I just know he's about two pitches away from getting killed.

My goodness what a play by Cano... and I know what you mean about Moose, I'm never confident with him on the mound.

Anonymous said...

see what I mean... everything is being hit hard.

Greg Cohen said...

When are people going to learn you never slide into first????? Damn it Gonzalez.

Greg Cohen said...

Johnny Damon is utterly useless.

Anonymous said...

Hey man,

Yea Damon has become this team's weakest link. How many times do we have to watch him pop out with 2 out and a runner in scoring position?

Anonymous said...

I agree with you guys about Damon, he's become an automatic out.

Greg Cohen said...

So much for that nice forecast.

Anonymous said...

I fucking hate manny so much.

Greg Cohen said...

Neither of those two pitches to Cano were strikes. The ump called that same pitch a ball on the first pitch of the AB.

Anonymous said...

You're right. The umps have been horrible all year, why would it stop now?

Greg Cohen said...

True.

Yes, great baseball right there from the Yanks. Small ball works again... I think they're listening to you Greg.

Greg Cohen said...

Gotta love the small ball..... Yanks take 2-1 lead now on the wild pitch, great base running by Gonzalez.

Greg Cohen said...

How the heck does Girardi let him pitch to Manny? What a moron!

Anonymous said...

Wow, that was the most brain dead move I've seen in a long time. Joe Torre would have walked Manny there, I know that.

Greg Cohen said...

I agree, Torre walks him there.

Anonymous said...

I've never seen something that stupid. Manny had already hit a HR, you don't let him beat you twice. Girardi is a moron.

Anonymous said...

Way to go Giambi, way to bang one right into the shift.

Greg Cohen said...

I'm still shocked Girardi let him pitch to Manny. It makes no sense, none at all.

Greg Cohen said...

WTF? They're going to delay the game NOW?!?!?! When the Yankees have 2 on and 2 out? This is just unfair, it's not even raining hard.

Anonymous said...

This is fucking bullshit. MLB and the Red Sox working together again to screw the Yankees.

Joe Buck just said the rain almost stopped. If they had just kept playing, everything would have been fine.

Anonymous said...

Sterling and Waldman even said the rain had stopped before the tarp was even completely on the field. This is such crap.

Anonymous said...

So convenient for the Red Sox....Fox said that Papelbon had just gotten out of a long toss and had only threw a few pitches in the bullpen....that is so messed up!

Greg Cohen said...

Joe Buck just said the heavy rains are about 30 mins away? Wow. This game could already be over by now, and they're gonna wait another half hour. This is just wrong.

Anonymous said...

This game could be over by now.

Greg Cohen said...

LET THEM PLAY

LET THEM PLAY

LET THEM PLAY

Anonymous said...

they let them play....eventually....and papelbon dominated =(

Greg Cohen said...

This game is on Joe Girardi.

I agree completely, I can't see how anyone can't.
