UPDATE 10:30 PM: Joe Girardi said on the post game that it's going to be "a little bit" till Jeter plays again. Jeter will definitely sit tomorrow. He also said that he doesn't think Jeter will need to be put on the DL, that they'll take it day by day, but it will probably be a week.
Jeter had an MRI and it showed a strain.
Derek Jeter was removed from tonight's game in the third with a strained left quad. He ran hard when he beat out a double play ball in the first, but he didn't appear to be in that much pain. He also made a play in the field in the second which he appeared fine on. Hopefully this isn't anything major.
