not related to todays game but: Kennedy will be recalled and will pitch Friday night vs the Mets, he'll take Igawa's spot on the roster. Good, hopefully it's the last time he'll be in the minor leagues.
Yea, just noticed that myself. very good news. And yes, hopefully he never sees the minors again.
Greg,
Wanted to post this on your series preview before but google was out taking a shit, apparently.
I know BJ Upton puts up stellar numbers against us, but I fear Jonny Gomes much more against the Yankees, he's rather Kevin Millar-ish in that respect. Was wondering if you had his numbers against these starters.
Well he scored the first run derek.
By the way, why the hell would Girardi take the bunt sign off for Molina there? He really does so many things that leave me shaking my head.
Girardi is a frigging idiot. He continues to play station to station baseball, and I don't get it.
I agree anonymous.
Im tellin ya, I got Peralta right last time... now Gomes is at it again...
My yankee killer xray specs are in seek n destroy mode.
Yup, just drove in another.
I think Pettitte needs some HGH. He's awful.
This is very frustrating... Matt Garza? You serious?
Well you know how hard it is to hit nothing but straight fastballs.
And honestly, Pettitte needs to give this team more than this. Like anonymous said, absolutely awful performance.
Its now time for Morgan Ensberg's thoughts from the bench:
"I could prob get a few swings in here towards the end. The kid is hitting well, but the rest of this offense is like my favorite Tropicana OJ... no pulp."
Hahahaha, thanks for that.
This team looks dead.
Pathetic.
