I am one who thinks Giambi should be cut, so I dont disagree on him. But Abrea has been horrible at the plate all week, I want him to have a day off before this weekend.
I guess, but his numbers are better vs. Kazmir, so I'd wait a day before giving him the day off. Give him the day off against Santana, or Perez.
kennedy is just flat out not good, hes a AAA allstar, theres no AAAA for him to go to
I'm starting to feel the same way after today's performance. Send him down and leave him there.
I still believe he can be successful, but he really looks bad. I tend to believe what Leiter is saying, about how he's pitched better than his line score says, but still, he's been bad.
But again the Yanks just aren't hitting with RISP. Maybe it's about time they get rid of Mr. Long. He may have helped A-Rod, but the whole team seems to grip the bat to tight is RBI situations.
anonymous,
I know what you're saying, but he's still not getting ahead of hitters, which is killing him.
I just have no faith in him to be effective. Maybe starting him against a team that has seen him 3 times wasn't the smartest move, but Girardi hasn't made many smart moves all year.
As for the "offense," it speaks for itself.
Unbelievable, they actually scored a run.
OMG TWO RUNS!!!! A NEW RECORD!
