Not again! Keith Olbermann reported on his "Countdown" show last night that a construction worker who buried a David Ortiz jersey beneath the new Yankeee Stadium may have left another would-be hex in the foundation -- an official scorecard from the 2004 AL Championship Series.
I don't really care about this, nor do I believe in hexes and curses, but for those that do care, this ones for you.According to Olbermann, Gino Castignoli told friends that while he buried the scorecad while working at the stadium for one day last summer.
Yankees officials in April had construction workers use jackhammers to break into the concrete and remove the Ortiz jersey. The latest treasure, if it's really there, could be much more difficult to find -- should they try.
Castignoli “isn’t telling anybody where” he buried the program, Olbermann said. “That could pose a problem. The new park is pretty big.”
Even though I don't think this matters at all, like Hank, I'd also like to see this Castignoli guy get his ass kicked, just for the fact that he's trying to put a hex on the Yankees.
