PITCHING: Alan Horne, making is 2nd start since coming off the DL, still wasn't very sharp. Not surprising since he missed almost 2 months. He did pick up the win (2-0). He went 6.1 innings, 3 runs on 9 hits and 3 walks. Horne had 3 strikeouts. He had runners in scoring position in 6 out of the 7 innings he pitched. Horne threw 88 pitches, 52 for strikes, and had 10 groundouts and 6 flyouts. His era is now at 3.44.

Heath Phillips relieved Horne with 1 out and runners on 1st and 2nd in the 7th inning. Phillips got the next two men to strikeout to get out of the inning. Phillips also pitched scoreless 8th and 9th innings allowing 1 hit in each inning.

OFFENSE: SWB pounded out 15 hits to get its 9 runs. ... SWB also pulled off a squeeze play and steal of home on a double steal. ... Cody Ransom----2 run homer and 3 singles. ...
