Man looks like it might be another 1 run game tonight
Yea sure does, and the Yanks pen is taxed.
This games over folks. Sorry to say it, but there is no way they're scoring much more off Volquez. Maybe they can start a new winning streak tomorrow.
Yup looks like this one is over, no way in hell Volquez is givin up 4 runs. Son of a bitch.
Great preview Greg. You have one of the best looking Yankee sites around.
I'm not ready to give up yet. Hopefully they can get a run or two in, and then kill the Reds pen.
Thanks a lot Sean.
they havent had any luck tonight, they still have time. But against Volquez, unlikely to come back. And then tomorrow and Sunday we face guys we've never seen before, we all know they suck against guys they havent faced. It could be a long weekend with the offense. But you never know.
4-2 with 6 outs left, let's see if they can show some balls and try to mount a comeback.
first they should pinch hit Posada for Molina
Betemit?
FUCK, almost
the difference in this game was the defense. We were robbed multiple times and we hit alot of balls right on the screws. Our D sucked ass tonight, highlited by the ball Damon missed and the missed tag by Molina. Votto saved a run, and Phillips made 3 or 4 nice plays. Maybe tomorrow we can work the starter more and get into the weak part of the Reds bullpen. We cant lose a series at home to the Reds, tomorrow and Sunday are must wins.
We'll get 'em tomorrow.
