Ugh, looks like another stinker in the Bronx. I really can't believe how bad the Reds have made them look.
Yea it's pretty sad. Cueto is pitching very well, though. The kid has very good stuff, but they should be able to hit him.
I know what you're saying, but this team is getting themselves out in these ABs.
And can they please send Cano down, or bench him, or smack him over the head with a 2x4? This moron is really costing this team on both sides of the ball. That should have been an E4.
Great job by Andy there. And yes I would have given Cano an error on that too.
Man this team really needs to help Andy after getting out of that
Yea they sure do. I would like to see Abreu try to swipe a bag here.
Man this is amazing, a few days ago this team couldn't do anything wrong. Now they just can't do anything right.
The story of their season so far.
Hey whadda ya know, the moron got the job done. 1-0 Yanks.
the other moron didnt.
Alright come on Mother Nature, let's get this one rained out. I'll take a win anyway we can get one.
Andy is almost up to 100 anyway right? Do u know how many pitches Cueto has?
Cueto has thrown 75, Pettitte has thrown 97.
Rain out! Rain out! Rain out!
Ahh damn it, I'm in north Jersey and the weather has already cleared up. The delay will probably only last 30 min or so.
I cant stand Nancy Newman, they couldnt find anyone better than her? She sounds like a dumbass and she's not too great to look at, IMO.
That was Big! stache!
The power of the stache is unmatched.
It's everyone's favorite, it's The Farns!
I guess we won't have to worry about seeing Farnsworth for a while. His hand must have swelled up immediately for him to call the trainer out like that. Enjoy the DL you bum.
It looked like he got cut on the hand, in between the pinky and ring finger. If nothing is broken he shouldn't miss any time.
Anybody else surprised to see Griffey get a standing o after hitting that HR off Farns? Especially given his comments about the stadium just the other day? Not sure I would have been clapping in that spot.
The majority of fans probably either A) Don't know about the Griffey comments, and applauded his last hit at the stadium being a dinger or B) Don't care about the comments and gave him the Reggie Miller "I love to hate you" treatment. I fall into category B. Can't stand him, but boy is he talented. That swing still chills me.
and of course the category C crowd, which the majority of us blog readers fall into, read the comments, was hurt by the comments, and booed, there were plenty of boos i heard in there. But most of a sunday crowd at the stadium doesnt do much blog reading, or paper reading, or reside in New York state, even. haha.
picked up a game on the Rays!
HAAAAA Papelbitch just blew the save on Adam Kennedy. Yes... Adam Kennedy. hahaha. Lets see that tough Ooo mouth now you homo.
