Robertson Called Up... Finally

According to Chad Jennings, David Robertson has been called up. A move that I feel should have came a week or two ago, maybe even earlier.

Robertson has dominated both AA and AAA this year:

Trenton: 0-0, 2 SV, 0.96 ERA, 9 G 18.2 IP, 8 H, 26 K, 6 BB, .133 BAA

Scranton: 3-0, 1 SV, 1.64 ERA, 20 G, 33 IP 18 H, 48 K, 16 BB, .153 BAA

Combined: 3-0, 3 SV, 1.39 ERA, 29 G, 51.2 IP, 26 H, 74 K, 22 BB, .146 BAA

Robertson last pitched on Thursday, and should be available tonight. There is no word on any corresponding moves. I wonder if Hawkins will be designated for assignment, he doesn't pitch in close games anymore, and his ERA is over 6.00. Dan Giese or Kei Igwawa could be sent back to AAA, though I don't think sending Giese down would be the right move. Besides yesterday he has been good, and could be useful as a long man.
