PITCHING: Ross Ohlendorf got the start for SWB. Ohlendorf gave up hits in the first inning and a wild pitch but pitched out of the jam. In the 4th inning 2 runs scored on a walk and 3 singles to make the score SWB 4-2. Ohlendorf struck out the first batter in the 5th inning before being relieved. Ohlendorf's line: 4.1 IP, 2 runs, 6 hits, 5 K's---1 walk. He threw 91 pitches--58 strikes--33 balls. ERA 3.24

Chris Britton relieved Ohlendorf in the 5th inning and got the final 2 outs. ... Britton pitched a scoreless 6th. Britton got the first 2 outs of the 7th and was taken out after an infield single.. Britton picked up the win (3-1). ... J B Cox relieved Britton and got the final out of the 7th inning. Cox had a rough 8th inning allowing 2 runs on a single, 2 walks, and wild pitch. ... Steven Jackson relieved Cox and got the final out of the 8th. ... Scott Strickland pitched a scoreless 9th inning to pick up the save. Strickland struck out the first 2 batters he faced. He then gave up an infield hit. The final out came on a controversial fan interference call on a foul pop down the 3rd base line. That ended the game with SWB getting the 6-4 win.

OFFENSE: The Yankees broke out to a 1-0 lead in the 2nd inning on a Jason Lane double and Chris Stewart rbi single.. ... In the 3rd inning SWB picked up 3 runs to make the score 4-0. Chris Basak doubled, Matt Carson was hit by pitch. Basak scored on a wild pitch. Juan Miranda followed with a 2-run homer (7). ... In the 6th inning, Jason Lane hit a 2-run homer (15) to make the score 6-2 at the time.

NOTES: Matt Carson of SWB and LHV manager Dave Huppert both ejected for arguing strike calls. ... Billy Traber sent back down to SWB. ... Cody Ransom made a great bare handed catch of the infield hit that Strickland gave up, deep in the hole at short but the runner beat the throw.
