Here's a fun Fenway memory from last September; Jeter takes Schilling deep to give the Yanks a 4-1 lead. The Yanks went on to win the game 4-3.

Stick around and discuss the game
as it happens in the comments section.

This is a big weekend for the Yanks. They need to take at least two out of three from these bums. GO YANKS!!!!!!!

Nice clip of Jeet's homer by the way.

Very true, this is a huge series. Then again every series from now on is huge.

By the way, Manny was scratched from the Sox starting lineup, the new lineup has been posted.

how about that defense! saved a big inning, and saves pitches for Joba for later on in the game.

Great defense all around that inning.

A-Rod needs to do something here. Knock one over the monster.

****By the way, Mets Blog is saying that Marte and Nady have been traded. I don't know much more than that, neither do they. The recipient is unknown. Weird. I'll post more as soon as I learn more.

Nice hit A-Rod.

In what may or may not be related, the Trenton Thunder pulled Phil Coke after 1 inning tonight, he didn't allow a hit, walked one, and struck out the side.

YANKS GET MARTE AND NADY FOR OHLENDORF+PROSPECTS.... MORE AS IT COMES!!!!

Joba is something else man. I would send out there for the 8th, but he is at 102 or something. Why does he hate Youkilis so much, and only him? It's kind of funny. Great job, if he's done. This performance shows me he is the ace of the future, and maybe this year.

Greg Cohen said...

I don't get the Youkilis hate either, but I do like it. He pitched great tonight, better than could be expected. Definitely the ace of the future.

come on Farnsworth, let that go foul. Lets go Mo.
