I think its time to bring up Kennedy to replace Rasner. Or if Ponson gets destroyed in Texas, replace him. Maybe this season could have some good in it for Kennedy and Hughes. I read Hughes is throwing 95-96 mph so far in his Rehab starts, I read he went back to his old mechanics, with which he threw harder. I dont know if it is true or not.
I would bring Kennedy up for the Friday game against the Angels. That's his turn to pitch anyway.
I read that too, but I don't believe it. I've heard so much over the years about Phil Hughes' velocity, and most of it has been nonsense. So I'll wait until he shows it on the big league level.
One thing I will point out is that it looks like his mechanics are a little different, so there is a chance it may have helped him increase his velocity.
Regardless, I think he can help this team.
