This is from Peter Abraham's blog:
"JOBA UPDATE, 5:11 p.m.: Joba Chamberlain repeated the throwing program he had on Tuesday and added 20 fastballs from 60 feet on level ground.
“I let a couple go, it felt good,” he said.
Chamberlain will throw a 30-pitch bullpen off a mound in Baltimore on Saturday - only fastballs and changeups. They’re holding off on breaking pitches."
Joba could return in the second week September. Not too bad.

Jays lead 1-0 with Halladay on the mound, game over y'all.
Damon is shit.Isn't the Cf supposed to take charge???
Usually, but Damon isn't a center fielder, he just plays one on TV.
Where the fuck was Giambi going? This team is such a joke. You have to wonder if they even know what sport they're playing.
Another great game from the Cashman led Yankees. $200m payroll and we have Ponson starting and Robertson for LR. We have 4 DH/1st Base on the roster and then we have to look forward to Pavano starting on Saturday. Me thinks some jackass is trying to defend his putrid signings.
And, another great Cashman player Billy Traber. Hey billy, why dont you throw the ball right down the middle of the plate on a 1-2 count?
Another great game managing too by Girardi. First, he starts that hack Pudge who absolutely blows, which, of course, is ANOTHER Cashman blunder. Then, he pulls Ponson when the game was already out of reach vs. Hallady to kill our BP. Way to go Joey!!!
$200m payroll and according to Mark Feinsand, Cashman should keep his job. Wow, that just absolutely proves how bias, prejudiced the media is. The biggest DEVILS that ever walked the earth. Then, again, that's what the word media means anyways doesn't it? Media=to come between you and the truth.
Yup, 10-0 now. The great Cashman and Girardi strike again. Any idiot that signs Arod to a $30m 10 year contract WHILE giving up the subsidy should be fired immediately. No 2 weeks, no golden handshake. GTFO!
Traber? LOLOLOL. Robertson? LOLOLOL. Ponson? LOLOLOL. And, Pavano on Saturday? ROFLMAO.
You're an idiot Feinsand.
What's Matsui hitting since comign back? Yup, another brilliant move by our GM. Sit Gardner when he finally gets hot. Smart GMing.
The team is obviously better with Gardner in CF, as well as the 9 hitter...
It doesn't even look like they're playing baseball anymore, its almost time to call it a season...
I see the trolls are out tonight, what a joke. Rough game, but it's even worse having to read some of the comments from these fucking morons.
