***Alan Horne Injury Update: River Ave. Blues is reporting the Alan Horne's father told NYYfans.com that Horne saw Dr. James Andrews and was diagnosed with a partial tear torn rotator cuff. Here's a quote from Horne's father from the NYYFans post:
[Andrews] said there was a partial tear of the rotator cuff that he cleaned up along with some fray but was very specific that it was not considered a typical repair where you actually have to tie anything down. Also there was some fray along the labrum which he cleaned up saying that because nothing was considered a complete repair that Alan's recovery should go well.(Not so) Cool Standings Update: According to Cool Standings the Yankees have a 0.1 % chance on winning the division, and a 1.5 % chance of winning the Wild Card. Yeeesh.

This is why Pettitte shouldn't be brought back next season. He's terribly inconsistent, and the Yanks can no longer rely on him in big games. You can't spot Roy Halladay a run.
I dunno, I'd still consider bringing him back. If you think about it, he'd be the 5th starter with Joba, Wang, Mussina, and let's say Sabathia (or some other FA). I think he could be a very good number 5. The problem this season is he's basically this team's no. 2.
Great job Nady, now it's 3-0 Jays with Halladay on the mound. Damn it.
Fucking shit, this team is so dead. What the fuck was Nady doing?
Brilliant walk by Pettitte to start the game. Absolutely MORONIC. That's this team, led by the imbecilic Cashmand and Girardi.
I don't like them either, but how is it Cashman's or Girardi's fault Pettitte walked the leadoff guy?
At least football season starts on Thursday.
Dolphins will shock the Jets week 1, and shock the world going 9-7. 50 bones, any takers?
Hahaha, I'm assuming you're a Dolphins fan Derek.
Way to go Alex.... Where is that swing with men on base you freaking joke?
Yes Greg, a huge one. But a very educated and realistic one. There are reasons for my overt enthusiasm, and you will all see very soon.
Atta boy big G. Boy, Doc really looks like he wants to strangle infants when he gives up dingers.
Interesting. I'm a Giants fan, so I don't mind if the Dolphins have a good year. I'm sure some Jets fans would feel differently, though.
Oddly enough, I like the Jets, never had a problem with them, even though weve had some really historic games both on the winning and losing end against gang green. But Buffalo and New England boil my blood far more than the Jets ever could.
I go back to the Bryon Cox middle finger up n spitting in the tunnel in Buffalo days, and there's no explanation needed to hate New England. And for my perfect '72 Dolphins legacy, we owe our sincerest gratitude to your New York Football Giants, so thank you.
So I dont mind either New York club. As for week 1, its all J! E! T! S! WORSE! THAN! METS! from me...
HAHAHHAHAHHA YOU GUYS SUCK!!!
Losing again I see. But at least your 300 million dollar man hit a solo HR.
By the way Derek the Dolphins are going to suck.
- A Mets fan, and Jets fan.
Shut up you Mets troll. Don't you have the Phillies to worry about.
Fucking Andy, gives that run right back. Why does Girardi insist on sticking with pitchers so long? OK start the inning with him, but one hit should have been enough to take him out, not three. It's been like this all year, and I wonder if he will ever learn to deal with this.
I totally agree anon.
Never quite understood the dicksucking other teams fans do to the point of even navigating on another teams blogroll... Like what the fuck business would I have even reading a Mets blog from a major news outlet, or a Red Sox blog from an actual Red Sox player(ok, Ive read Schilling's this year cause its fun to see him frustrated with being old and rickety)?
In the words of Pun, Get Off My Dick. Do you, Ill do me. Never understood why people gotta shittalk on teams fanssites. Whats worse is they never have factual evidence to back up any claims, they just go right for the 5th grade You suck! and keep running.
Im used to the Dolphins sucking, youre not gonna get me there, the only team who has something to lose is your jets, so go read something.
As for your precious Mets... enjoy the walk off walks. SICK bullpen bro. SICK. Go to your own blog and whine about that.
PS - Apologies in order to my fellow Sliding into homers... I purposefully never respond to Trolls cause feeding them makes them stupid, but I draw the line at cowardice and hit and run gunplay on a site you have no business being on.
I don't really understand why they have to troll on other team's sites either.
And don't worry about feeding the trolls Derek, you have every right to respond to that idiot. The guy has been coming around the last few days to leave an insulting post and then hide.
Now pitching for the Yankees, Number 91, Steve, Nebraska, Number 91...
lol
What, no helicopter?
Nice first inning of work for Aceves.
ACEVES!!!
Ouch.
Wow, Aceves looks like he's got nasty stuff. Nice job.
Another loss as things seem to get worse and worse for this team. Thanks for the comments, enjoy the rest of your day folks.
Greg,
It's over. This team isn't good enough this year.We have alot of work to do to get a good product on the field for next yr.
