Jeter Not Expected To Miss Any Time

In the fourth inning of tonight's game Jeter fouled a ball off his left instep, and was running very gingerly around the bases a few innings later.

After reaching on a single in the 9th, Joe Girardi removed Jeter from the game for a pinch-runner because he felt that Jeter would be unable to score on a double. But thankfully Joe Girardi told the media that X-rays on Jeter's left foot came back negative, and he's not expected to miss any playing time.
"I think he'll play tomorrow," Girardi said after the game. "He's icing, X-rays are negative and we expect him to play tomorrow. We'll see."
