Matsui Activated, Christian to AAA
According to Peter Abraham the Yankees have activated Hideki Matsui, and to make room for him on the roster they sent Justin Christian back to AAA Scranton/Wilkes-Barre. The Yankees also released Jason Lane.

Boy that was quick. Hopefully not too quick. Cant wait to finally drive in those runners at third. Keep in mind tho, Hideki is one of those players where when he swings and hits it, it looks golden, but if he swings and misses, he looks AWWWWWWFUL. So while were all gonna pay close attention, I'm not gonna read into much if he looks horrific at the plate, cause even if he's on fire he can look gross up there on a few inside breaking balls.

Good point Derek. I'm sure as soon as he strikes out once all hell will break loose demanding for Gardner to be put back in the lineup.
With Matsui in the lineup this team should really takeoff.
They're going to need to, that's for sure.
