What the hell is up with Yankees pitchers in Texas?

Why is it that every time the Yanks go to Texas one of their pitchers end up flying home for an MRI?

Here are the Yankees pitchers who have gone down in each of the last three trips to the Lone Star State.

May 1, 2007
- Phil Hughes tears his hamstring while pitching a no-hitter against the Rangers in Arlington. Hughes didn't pitch for three months.

June 15, 2008 - Chien-Ming Wang injures his foot rounding third base in Houston against the Astros, he's most likely out for the year.

August 4, 2008 - Joba Chamberlain injures shoulder pitching against the Rangers, no word on the severity of the injury yet.

Are there others I'm missing?

You forgot, Texas also gave us the disaster known as George W. Bush.

I hate that damn state.
