yay 3 more years of MK. i'm so happy i could shit
I dont think they should resign Pettitte.
I think with a full off-season he could be OK. His HGH thing really screwed him up, and I think he's feeling the after effects of it.
He's basically admitted he didn't do his usual training that he does because of all that stuff.
Giambi fucking blows. Hits a solo homer, but chokes like a bitch with the bases loaded.
Isn't that the story of the season?
that record jeter broke is bullshit
How is it bullshit?
because hits in a career is the big prize not hits in one particular location. seriously, who had the most hits in tiger stadium? who has the most hits at fenway? who has the most hits at wrigley? who cares? its like scratching to find a feel good story for this season.
I see what you're saying, but don't you think it's pretty impressive that in a place that Babe Ruth, Lou Gehrig, Joe DiMaggio, and Mickey Mantle called home, Derek Jeter has the most hits? It doesn't make up for missing the playoffs, but it's impressive.
As for hit leaders at Fenway, Wrigley and Tiger Stadium, I'd have to guess Yaz, Ernie Banks, and Al Kaline.
i don't know. i looked that shit up and couldn't find anything. yeah that is good company, but i just think its BS. oh yeah BTW i'm not much of a jeter fan. not saying he sucks, thats just stupid. just saying he is not as good as some people make him out to be. and he needs to move to centerfield
on a lighter note, what time does the jump-off start on sunday? i heard 6PM and its basically an old timers day without the game
That's what I've heard as well. I hope they do this ceremony right - I'm sure they will.
