On game 2 of the '95 ALDS:
"To go to Yankee Stadium, that was what playoff baseball was all about," Martinez said. "We felt like we had to be ahead three, four or five runs toward the end of the game, because if it was close, something bad was going to happen. That's how the visiting team feels there, even if they won't admit it."
On game 6 of the '96 World Series:
"The stadium was absolutely rocking, loud as could be," Martinez remembered. "When we took the field and felt the electricity in the place, we knew we couldn't lose the game. We didn't want to give the Braves any momentum and have a Game 7."On his grand slam in game 1 of the '98 World Series:
"It's something you dream of as a kid," Martinez said. "To hit the grand slam and put us ahead, it was huge. I can still hear the fan reaction and smell the beer flying all over the Stadium."I was at this game and sitting in the upper deck on the first base side, about halfway up. I got hit not once, but twice in the head with half full cups of beer; Once when Knoblauch hit his homer, and another when Tino hit his. The Stadium went berserk, and it's still one of my favorite memories at The Stadium.
On the his game-tying homer in game 4 of the '01 World Series:
"It's my favorite personal moment of my career," Martinez said. "It was an amazing feeling. We had gone though Sept. 11, we lost two in Arizona, and after winning Game 3, to do that in Game 4, it was amazing. It gave the fans a brief break from thinking about all the tragedy."
Martinez went back to the midtown hotel where about 30 family members were staying, and they watched his home run on television a few times. He remembers watching the clock all night, not being able to sleep. All he wanted to do was go back to the Stadium for Game 5.
"You don't sleep after moments like that," he said.
And when Brocious did the same thing the next night:
"I was in disbelief," Martinez said. "I was sitting next to Bernie in the dugout, and when he hit it, we knew it was gone. Bernie and I didn't even get off the bench. We just looked at each other and we said, ‘You've got to be kidding me.' "What's your favorite Yankee Stadium Tino moment?

as far as games that i have been to I would have to say when Tino had the game winning opposite field hit in 1997 to give the Yankees bragging rights and win the first interleague subway series. Maybe not as cool as the other games you mentioned, but I wasn't there for those.
Great stuff. I was there for the Brosius HR.The stadium was rocking. That was a great team, not the garbage we have been watching for the last few yrs.

Yea there was nothing like those Yankees. Just great teams, full of guys who were very easy to root for.
Here's another great Tino memory, at least it was for me.
It was a reg. season game in 1998 against the Phillies. Tino hit two homers in the game, tied the game with a 3-run shot in the bottom of the 9th.
The Yanks eventually won the game in the extras on a Ricky Ledee RBI single.
One of the best regular season games I've ever been to.
