UPDATE: Joe Girardi has issued a statement on this situation (via Peter Abraham):Yankees star Joba Chamberlain's blood alcohol content was well above Nebraska's legal limit when he was busted for drunk driving, prosecutors charged Monday.
Chamberlain, who failed a Breathalyzer test when he was pulled over early Saturday in his hometown of Lincoln, registered a .134 blood alcohol level, prosecutors said.
Under Nebraska law, a driver is considered under the influence with a level of .08 or higher.
Chamberlain, 23, will be arraigned in Lincoln on Dec. 17, the Lancaster County Attorney's office announced.
“I have spoken to Joba and he made it very clear to me that he made a mistake. We certainly don’t condone his actions, but he is part of the Yankees family and I believe he learned a valuable lesson which he can grow from.”Hopefully the Yankees and Joba can put this behind them. I don't really have anything more to say about this.

Everyone make mistakes, but comon Joba you have enought money to get a car service.
They should send Joba to see some sport psychiatrist.
Raven, do you really think he has a problem or that he just screwed up this one time?
I personally believe this was a one time event. Hopefully he moves on, and learns from it.
Personally, I don't think he has a problem that needs therapy.
I do think he needs some help to deal with all these pressure.
Fair enough.
