Lee Wins AL Cy Young Award

No surprise here, it was announced today that Cleveland Indians lefty Cliff Lee has won the American League Cy Young award.

On the season Lee went 22-3 with a 2.54 ERA. In 223.1 innings pitched he struck out 170 and walked just 34. He threw 4 complete games, and 2 shutouts.

There were two Yankees that finished in the top ten; Mariano Rivera finished fifth in the AL Cy Young voting, getting three third-place votes, and Mike Mussina finished sixth, getting two third-place votes.
