12/3 Winter Ball Report

Dominican League:

- Robinson Cano (Estrellas) went 1-for-3 with a double, a walk, and a run scored. He's now hitting .306/.405/.472 in the Dominican.

- Melky Cabrera (Aguilas) went 1-for-4 with a run scored. He's now hitting .333/.378/.381 in the Dominican.

Puerto Rican League:

- Jonathan Albaladejo (Mayaguez) picked up his 6th save of the winter. He pitches 1.1 IP, allowed no runs on two hits, and struck out two. He has not allowed a run for Mayaguez.

Baseball America came out with the Hawaiian Winter League top 20 prospects and two Yankees made the top ten:

Dominican League: Robinson Cano is playing for Estrellas de Oriente. Melky Cabrera, and Wilkins Arias are playing for Aguilas Cibaenas. And Amaury Sanit is playing for Tigres del Licey.

Mexican League: Justin Christian is playing for Caneros de los Mochis. Ramiro Pena is playing for Tomateros de Culiacan. And Walter Ibarra is on Naranjeros de Hermosillo.
