Britton and Christian Non-Tendered
Peter Abraham is reporting that the Yankees non-tendered Justin Christian and Chris Britton. This makes them both free agents. I bet Britton is happy he won't have to take that Scranton to New York shuttle 20 times a season. Maybe the next team that signs him will actually give him a chance.

I can see Britton going but I just hate to see Justin go.
Christian played real hard, has great speed, and is a pretty good fielder. He'll catch on somewhere.
Another epic fail of the Girardi era, never really giving either of these two a chance. I'm becoming concerned with Girardi's ability to evaluate talent.
