Cash Gets Back To The Brewers

From The Journal Sentinel:
I talked with Brewers general manager Doug Melvin a little while ago and he said Yankees GM Brian Cashman finally called back today after days of silence prompted Melvin to remove centerfielder Mike Cameron from trade consideration yesterday.

And, no, Cashman's call did not result in trade talks being resumed.

“He basically just wanted to tell me why he hadn’t called,” said Melvin. “He said he has had a lot of things going on. I told him we’re probably going to hang on to Mike.”
This news should be a little upsetting the newest Yankee, CC Sabathia, who had this to say about his former teammate:
"Cameron's awesome," said Sabathia, who raved about the chemistry on the Brewers. "That clubhouse we had in Milwaukee, a big reason it was the way it was, was because of Cameron. He's a guy [who's] never had a bad day in his life. He comes in every day with the same attitude and plays hard and has fun, and I think that rubs off."
While that does sound like the type of person the Yankees clubhouse could use, I still don't think the Yankees should acquire him.
