Tony Massarotti of The Boston Globe mentioned in his article today that Brian Cashman will travel to California today and visit with Boras. Massarotti speculates that this meeting may lead to an offer for FA pitcher Derek Lowe, but Boras is also the agents for Manny Ramirez, Oliver Perez, and Mark Teixeira. So Cashman could be going to meet him to speak about any of these players.
UPDATE 8:30 p.m.: George A. King III confirms that a meeting between Cashman and Boras did take place today, although it was not in California or New York. Vegas?
He didn't mention anything about the meeting besides that the two spoke about Boras' clients Mark Teixeira, Manny Ramirez, Derek Lowe and Oliver Perez.
