There have been several reports over the past few days that because of the Teixeira signing the Yankees may not bring back Andy Pettitte. Kat O'Brien has this one, Peter Abraham has this one, and Mike Puma had another. But Ken Davidoff isn't so convinced. He mentions in this article that he still believes that the Yankees will bring back the 36-year-old lefty.
I hope Andy comes back. It would be great to have a reliable veteran at the back end of that rotation. But with or without him, this team is stacked.
