From Mark Feinsand:
According to a source, the Yankees will offer Ben Sheets a multiyear deal - most likely for two years in the $26 million range - before the winter meetings conclude on Thursday.Sheets made $11 million last year and was looking at a one year deal worth around $13-14 million if he had accepted arbitration.
I like this deal for the Yanks. There are obviously huge risks when it comes to Sheets and his injury problems, but for a two-year deal it may be worth those risks.

i like it, that would be a bargain. he started the all star game last year. if he's healthy he can be an ace, for us he'd probably be a 3
True, when healthy he's one of the better pitchers in the game.
OK by me!
Mike
yesss, him over burnett please
AGREED with the other Anonymous. I wanted Sheets all along. I would give gim more years and a a little more money to get the deal done.
Greg,
You might wanna check out what Pete-Abe had to say about their meeting today for an update. Sounds like we're gonna go after him hard.
I like Sheets and Burrnet so either one is good for me.Although Burrnet does like new york.
I just posted something about that MP. I had a busy day and was away from a computer.
