Yanks Taking a Look at Nick Punto?

From Ken Rosenthal:
(The Yankees) are looking for a utility infielder who would can back up at second base, shortstop and third, enabling Robinson Cano, Derek Jeter and Alex Rodriguez to occasionally take a day off or serve as a designated hitter. Free agent Nick Punto is among the players they are considering.
Punto hit .284/.344/.382 with 2 HR, 28 RBI, and 15 steals in 99 games with the Twins last year. He's a career .252/.319/.332 hitter. He'd be a decent pickup.

YES. That's a great choice. I like Punto a lot. Gritty player. Bench has been weak since the dynasty.
