Braves Won't Meet Yanks' Price For Nady

From Ken Rosenthal:
The Braves, at least for the moment, are pulling back in their search for a hitter...

...A trade remains a possibility, but the Braves are unwilling to meet the Yankees' price for outfielder Xavier Nady, knowing they might get better deals in July.
Good, they should still keep him AND Swisher.

I think it could be more about the Braves having reached their payroll limit with the Lowe signing.

I really see no reason to get rid of Nady or Swisher. Would it kill us to have a deep bench? I love Swisher's versatility. I'm routing for Gardner/Cabrera, but let's be honest, can you really be comfortable with either as our full time CF? Also, Matsui and Damon are going to need days off and having Swisher is great. I like these two guys on the roster. If anything, we should be looking into trading Melky. I love his defense and he's still young, but I would trade him for a solid middle reliever.
