The Yankees are making plans for a press conference to fete new first baseman Mark Teixeira, perhaps as early as Tuesday, according to baseball sources.The article goes on to say that Teixeira's physical may be scheduled for tomorrow, and that the reason this has all been delayed was because the Yankees front office has been on vacation since Christmas.
The offices will reopen Monday.
