The Yankees offered Andruw Jones a minor-league contract, but the struggling outfielder turned them down, according to SI.com.Even though he didn't sign, I like the idea. I can't see any team giving him a deal with a guaranteed spot so this may not be the last we hear of this.
The report says the Mets, Rangers, Phillies and Braves are all considering making Jones an offer, but most likely a non-roster spot.
