Coke To Stay in the Pen

According to Peter Abraham Joe Girardi told him that Phil Coke would be pitching out of the bullpen.
“He’s a guy we see being able to pitch multiple innings out of the bullpen. That’s how we’re going to try and develop him,” Girardi said. “Right now, he’s not a starter.”
There had been some talk earlier in the offseason that they would develop him as a starter, but I think the Yankees are making the right decision keeping him in the pen.

Two leftys in the bullpen is good, but this is not good for Edwar Ramirez as we all know he gets out leftys.
