will they just do away with their stupid clean shaven shit...god this team really pisses me off sometimes. focus on winning, not what you look like!

As long as George is still alive I can't see that happening.

Personally, I agree. I don't think they need this rule.

I don't care either way. But as long as King George is cutting the checks, he can do whatever he wants. I get it though that he wants a professional look.

If i was the owner, I wouldn't have anyone shave if they didn't want to, as long if they don't look like a red sox player.

i hear ya, but johnny damon was the caveman, not saying he looks bad now but he looked much better with the long hair and beard (no homo). idk, maybe the beards would be intimidating torwards other teams and we can win lol

With the money the players get paid, if they are asked to wear lipstick and high-heels, they should shut their mouths and do it. Just my opinion :)

I love the no long hair and no facial hair rule, that is one of the reason I became a yankee fan. It shows great discipline, honor and courage. The first step to achieving greatness is being well groomed and showing pride in the way you represent yourself.

sorry anon, but randy johnson is the best left hander i ever seen, and he wasnt exactly well groomed. the first step to achieving greatness is being yourself, and show the world what god gave you

Personally, I think Joba looks better with his beard. It works for some people, some it doesn't.

Like Swisher, looks way better with a clean shave.

Great discipline, yes.
But since when did wearing long hair and beard represent dishonesty and cowardice???
