Heyman Rates Every Team's Winter

Jon Heyman of SI.com ranked every team's winter activities today. The Yankees were third on his list, behind only the Phillies and the Mets. Here's what he said about the Yankees:
3. Yankees: Right now, all anyone can talk about is Alex Rodriguez and his latest massive distraction. A-Rod's teammates didn't look especially happy to be at his latest massive mea culpa. It may be a long summer. But the new Yankees are an impressive group, especially new ace CC Sabathia and new first baseman Mark Teixeira. They did what they had to do, and if they can get out from under the steroid cloud, they should be terrific.
Did he forget about A.J. Burnett and Nick Swisher? Oh well, third isn't so bad even though I feel they probably had the best offseason out of anyone, but then again I'm a bit bias.

He ranked the Red Sox 9th, and the team with the worst offseason according to Jon Heyman was Joe Torre's Dodgers.

I think Heyman's article is meant as a joke. The Phillies certainly did something decent locking up their two top players.

The Mets didn't really improve that much. They added a couple of relievers, but the Yankees added an ace and a huge bat. If any other team did that can you tell me that he wouldn't have ranked them #1?

I feel like the two teams ranked in front of the Yankees really only took steps sideways.

Plus the dodgers probably aren't done so it's not exactly fair to rank them last.

Why is it that your home page opens up with no post showing, and only a b.s global warming alarmism ad appearing in the middle? I got here through your monthly archives.
