Enrique Rojas of ESPN Deportes is reporting that Manny Ramirez and the Dodgers have come to terms on a two-year $45 million deal. Manny is expected to join the Dodgers in Arizona on Thursday.
Well I'm glad that's over.
...OK, maybe it's not over. Ken Gurnick and Barry M. Bloom of MLB.com are now reporting that "the Dodgers and Manny Ramirez made significant progress in contract talks Tuesday, but no agreement has been reached."
They also have this quote from Scott Boras: "I'm still working on it, but it's yet to be finalized."
Also, MLB Trade Rumors says the Rojas report is "false."

Kind of wanted him to sign with the Giants, but that was still a stretch.
I'm just happy if we stays away from the Yankees. Whether it's playing with us, or against us.
I guess Boras is not living in the same recession as the rest of us...
