Posada Catches as Yanks Win 5-1

It was a pretty good day all around for the Yanks as they defeated the Minnesota Twins 5-1.

Jorge Posada was behind the plate for the first time since having shoulder surgery. He caught for four innings and said his should felt strong.

Andy Pettitte
looked sharp in his second start of the spring. He went three innings, allowing just two hits and striking out one.

Phil Coke pitched three innings in relief, allowing a run on three hits and a walk, and striking out two.

Jose Veras, Anthony Claggett, and Steven Jackson threw a scoreless inning each.

Besides catching for four innings Posada also had a good day at the plate. He went 2-for-2 with a double and two runs scored.

Ramiro Pena also picked up two hits on the day, going 2-for-3 with an RBI.

Angel Berroa continues his hot hitting going 1-for-2 with a double and two RBI. He's now hitting .438 for the spring.

Melky Cabrera had a good game, going 1-for-2 with a double, and walk, and two runs scored.

Mark Teixeira and Hideki Matsui also picked up RBIs on the day.
