Single-Game Registration Now Open

I got an email today from the Yankees informing me that registration for the "Random Drawing for the Opportunity to Purchase Pre-Season Game and 2009 Regular Season Game Tickets Online" is now open.

Here's the link where you can read the official rules and register. You have from noon today to 10:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 17th to sign up. The drawing will take place on the 18th.

If your name is selected in the drawing then you will be able to purchase tickets. If you're selected there are some limits to the number of tickets you may purchase: You can buy four tickets to either of the pre-season games vs. the Cubs, two tickets to Opening Day, four tickets to any premium game other than Opening Day, and 12 tickets to any other non-premium game.
"Premium Game(s)" is defined as the as the Opening Day Game, the Old-Timers' Day Game and all Games played against the Boston Red Sox, Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim, Cleveland Indians, Philadelphia Phillies and New York Mets.
Good luck people.

Greg,

I recently plagirised one of your posts. I was running out of the house for a family emergency (that is personal) and I needed to report the news of the blackout somehow.

I'm an ass for doing it and I'm only 12. I'm sorry and please forgive me. I will never do it again. I love your site and I would never do anything to hurt it.

Sincerely,
Yankeeboy98

It's alright YankeeBoy. I'm sure you didn't mean any harm, just please don't do it again.

Dan,

Here's exactly what the rules say:

"The following respective Ticket limits, subject to availability, shall apply to purchases made during the Program: (i) four (4) Tickets to any Pre-Season Game versus the Chicago Cubs; (ii) two (2) Tickets for the Opening Day Game; (iii) four (4) Tickets to any Premium Game (other than the Opening Day Game); and (iv) twelve (12) Tickets to all other Games (excluding any Premium Game). As used herein, "Premium Game(s)" is defined as the as the Opening Day Game, the Old-Timers' Day Game and all Games played against the Boston Red Sox, Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim, Cleveland Indians, Philadelphia Phillies and New York Mets."

thanks Greg

it looks like that came out of the constitution or something... these ticket plans/laws or whatever u wanna call them are getting crazy. its almost impossible to get tickets to multiple games for a good price... the last couple of years I could only get tickets off stubhub.
