Joba Chamberlain had his second strong spring outing in a row, going three innings, and allowing no runs on two hits and a walk, he also struck out three.

Brian Bruney pitched an inning in relief, he gave up two hits and a walk, but did not allow a run.

Kei Igawa continues his great spring. He threw three more shutout inning, allowing two hits and a walk, and struck out three. In 12 innings pitched he's allowed no runs on six hits, walked two and struck out 11.

Jonathan Albaladejo retired all three batters he faced, two on strike outs, and David Robertson added a scoreless inning.

The Yankees offesnse pounded out 12 runs on 20 hits on the day. They were led by Nick Swisher who went 3-for-4 with three RBI. Eduardo Nunez also picked up three hits, going 3-for-3 with a stolen base and two runs scored.

Xavier Nady went 2-for-4 with an RBI and two runs scored.

Cody Ransom and Shelley Duncan were both 2-for-2.

Brett Gardner went 1-for-3 with a triple, an RBI, and two runs scored.

The Yanks take on the Pittsburgh Pirates tomorrow night at George M. Steinbrenner Field. CC Sabathia will start for the Yanks, with right-hander Virgil Vasquez going for the Pirates. The game is scheduled for 7:15 p.m., and can be seen on YES.
