Who will be called up?
With the Yankees having to deplete their bullpen in yesterday's laugher, Chad Jennings takes a look at potential call-ups for tonight's game over on his great SWB Yanks blog. Steven Jackson and Anthony Claggett appear to be the leading candidates, with the slight advantage going to Claggett. They both are on the 40-man roster, and both can throw multiple innings. Alfredo Aceves could also be a cadidate. He also says you can count Mark Melancon, J.B. Cox, Zach Kroenke and Brett Tomko out because they're not on the 40-man. And you can also take David Robertson off the list because he threw three innings yesterday.

Well I was hoping for Tomko or Robertson :(.
And of course Melancon, but I expect him up by the AS break.
go with Aceves
Why isn't Melancon on the team!!!!!!! He dominates at every level in the minors.
Anthony Claggett
