Bruney Report No Pain After Playing Catch

In the same article from NorthJersey.com as the Wang post below it was reported that
Brian Bruney said that he felt no pain in his injured right elbow after playing catch yesterday. He mad 30 tosses from 60 feet and said the results were "Very encouraged," and that "It’s a big step for me, personally, from the last time."

The last time he's referring to was last Friday when he felt some pain while playing catch and was told by the Yankees training staff to rest for five day.

Thank goodness, heaven knows we need a warm body back in that bullpen that can actually throw strikes. Great to hear about Bruney and hope he is back soon.

Has this been a bizarre start to the season or what? Other teams are humming along. What other club has had so many injuries to important players? We said this last year too.

Bruney coming back will be huge for this team. HUGE. Hopefully it happens sooner rather than later.
