Joba Update
Joba Chamberlain left today's game after recording just one out after Adam Jones lined a ball off the side of his right knee. He faced two more batters, allowing back-to-back singles before being taken out of the game. According to Michael Kay on the MY9 broadcast x-rays on Joba's knee were negative and he's listed as having a bruised right knee. This is good news, and I'm going to assume he'll be able to make his next start.

Glad to hear it wasn't anything serious. Hopefully he doesn't miss a start but if he needs to, it will likely mean that Wang will be back for that start.
I'm back home in New York. It's so weird... (LOL)
Welcome back.
Hughes pitched only 5 innings and gave up 3 runs and everybody is acting like it was a great start. What will the yankees do with Hughes. They need to send him down.
Joba >>>>> Hughes
Yes anon, Joba is clearly better than Hughes. He's better than a lot of pitchers.
