Bruney Starts Throwing Program

According to Peter Abraham, reliever Brian Bruney will start his throwing program today. If everything goes well I'm assuming that he'll be ready in a couple weeks.

One of the only remaining issues with this team is the 8th inning, and getting Bruney back will obviously be a huge boost. Even with Bruney, I still believe they should go out and look to trade for a reliever.

Greg what pick do the Yankees have in the draft...I work with a girl who's brother is one of the top rated relievers in the country

They have the 29th pick only as compensation for last years pick Gerrit Cole being unsigned (went to UCLA-Boras client). There normal slot goes to the angels for Teixeira.

Yea it's the 29th pick.

Who's the reliever? I know you probably won't/can't say, but I had to ask.

I don't want to trade for someone. I just want the bullpen to get health and be chosen right: Rivera, Bruney, Marte, Robertson, Melancon, Aceves, and I guess Coke.

Don't feel like giving much of anything for a reliever.

The wild card in that is Melancon. If he can live up to the hype they don't need a thing.

trade igawa and berrora for some good reliever

Who would want either of them, and why would they give up anything good to get them?
