Gardner Fine, Listed As Day-To-Day

Both Joe Girardi and Gardner himself said he was fine during tonight's postgame show. The only thing that bothered him was that he had a little bit of a headache. He went through some tests with team doctors in the clubhouse and they said he's fine.

Good news and nice catch he also was the only one that actually tried making the pitcher work his first couple of bats. Everyone else was just swinging on the first and second pitches.

When Gardner was on second A-rod struck out swinging on a ball that bounced by his feet. Half the lineup is just trying to hit homeruns. They need to realize they can score runs by hitting singles too.

Very odd they didn't give him CT Scan. Him having a headache could be a sign of a mild concussion. Hopefully he is fine.

They will probably run a cat scan later today to be safe.

One nore thing to change to make to the new stadium. Get rid of the Plexi-glass in the outfield wall and replace it with padding.

Good to see Gardner giving it all against the Nats last night. Now if the whole team had picked up on that maybe we could have eeked out some respectability from this series. As it is right now, when your playing banging his head into the wall (and making a great catch) is your only highlight from the last two games against the worst team in the majors, that's a problem.
