I hate to see Cervelli go. I like Molina but Cervelli added a little spirit to the team.
I hope the team veterans (Jeter, Rivera) give Cervellit some words of encouragement before he leaves.
That would be a classy move.
i have a feeling we will see him again before september...not sure if molina will hold up..
Cervelli should be happy he won a job next year. He started the season at double a, with Molina being a free agent Cervelli won the backup catcher role for next year.
Nice job Gardner... 3-0 Yanks... Anyone here?
What the hell is wrong with Burnett? Three wild pitches?
This happens to him every now and then. He just gets completely out of whack. He got out of it with the lead so he should be fine.
Posada stinks defensively.
with matsui in the fianl year of his contract, Posada will almost certainly be full time DH next season, & probably catch like once or twice a week...
Posada is really starting to breakdown, so...
marty foster just made another bad call this time against the dodgers.
What did Foster screw up tonight?
AJ is just struggling, laboring, i swear its Cone & singleton's fault, oh and posada has a hand in it too, LOL, we just can't seem to put together back to back quality pitching performances...WTF
walks , wild pitches, passed balls, FUGLY..
a bang bang play at first. daniel murphy made an awesome no look behind the back pass to the pitcher covering, loretta was safe by two steps, but foster again made his own rules. Apparently, style points are bonus, so he called loretta out. torre came out to argue but not tossed

What a joke.
Mo done good. Now lets score a few runs in the 9th and finish them off.
Nice win!
Great job by Mo!
Nice win... another series win.
Yep, Mo was great.
Kinda bummed to see Cervelli go, but this obviously isn't the end of him. Personally, I like Cervelli over Molina even now, but I understand why they chose Molina.
But Cervelli will certainly be the backup catcher next season.
