Future Mrs. Buchholz: Yankee fans are mean

With another big Yankees-Red Sox series on the horizon, I figured I'd pass this bit of info along from the Inside Track:
Red Sox hurler Clay Buchholz’ bride-to-be, Lindsay Clubine, got a crash course on being a Red Sox [team stats] fan in Yankee Stadium earlier this month.

“Yankees fans, they are mean!” said the future Mrs. B, who hit the new NYC ballpark to watch her hubby and his team get swept by the Evil Empire. “I was in the family section and the fans behind us were heckling us the whole game.”

Clubine, also known as Briefcase Model No. 26 on NBC’s “Deal or No Deal,” said somehow the Yankees fans figured out she was one of Howie Mandel’s models and worked it into their heckling repertoire!

“Every time we’d get up and cheer for our guys, a couple of the fans would yell, ‘Yankees sweep Sox - Deal or no deal?’ ”
Good job people.

I love it. I'm sorry but when you are the the relative of a player, whether it is Mother, Father, Wife, Husband and so on, and you go into a visiting park, none the less, the rivals park, you have to expect this to happen.

It cracked me up when Papelbum said that we were assholes and now Mrs. Buchholz says were mean..LMFAO, what do you expect, its NY, Its the Bronx, ITS YANKEE STADIUM!

As long as nobody threatens or physically harms anyone anything else is fair game.

That said, I would love it if opposing fans to start fearing Yankee Stadium. Too many of these fools come into our yard and it needs to stop. I'm sick of going to Yanks-Sox games and seeing 35% Sox fans in the building. In fact, it's quite sickening.

It looks like she is saying when Yankee fans go to Fenway Park the same doesn't happen..... :face-palm:

STFU you stupid whiny bitch! LOL

@Greg - At least someone is buying Yankee tickets. Maybe if ownership backed off on ticket prices we could actually fill the stands with our own fans.

Welcome to the Bronx bitch! This isnt New Hampshire

While that's partially true, the old place was full of Sox fans over the past four or five seasons.

That's funny and not very mean at all. Pretty tame for the Bronx if you ask me.

Jeff- don't get me started on the ticket prices and the empty moat area.

Exactly... that wasn't rude.

Now this would have been rude. LOL

"Ok Lindsay, we have an opening for 'Briefcase Model No. 26'.

Get on your knees and the job is yours.

Deal or no deal?"

I love how this bitch acts like this doesn't happen at Fenway. Sox fans are just as bad, if not worse, remember when Sheff almost knocked out the dude in RF?

Oh man. I'm going to the game on Saturday and I can't wait to raise some hell, with Myself and 10 of my friends we will surely be heard on Fox with our "Boston Sucks" chant and we plan to introduce the "Masshole...Masshole.." chant.

Anon, thats unfortunate, but was he parked in the lot by fenway? Generally they have extra Police there to patrol the lots.

Anonymous said...

haha that is hysterical. Much nicer than what some red sox fan said to Jorge or his wife about Jorge Jr.

maybe Clay should teach her to shut her mouth and to speak when spoken too

Anon, I'm sure they also made a laptop comment or two, she was probably too embarrassed to mention it.

what did she expect, flowers and champagne? it's a rivalry, not a church gathering. maybe she'll stay her butt home, since she can't handle sitting with the GREATEST FANS IN ALL OF BASEBALL!!!!!
