- It was reported today that former Yankee and 2003 ALCS hero Aaron Boone is set to join the Astros once the rosters expand. He has missed most of the season after undergoing open-heart surgery. Good for him, I hope he tears things up.

Wow. Good for him. He's really amazing. He started out with the Reds and was awesome, then he became a Yankee legend for winning the ALCS, his career then went down-hill which included a myraid of injuries. Then the open heart surgery and he still is gonig to go back out there. A real trooper.
You never know, if he didn't get injured who knows what he could have done. The Yanks may have won a World Series by now and maybe A-Rod would be in Boston.
I'm happy for him too. No other hit in my lifetime has made me as ridiculously happy as that home run.
I often wonder how the careers of A-Rod a Soriano as well as the last four years of Yankees history go if he doesn't play that game of basketball.
Same here. You never know, A-rod could have cursed the Red Sox instead of us and we may have been the ones with 2 rings in the last 5 years. We may have swept the Sox in '04. We could have won the ALDs in 05,06, and 07 have it been for A-Rod.
